We're all very shocked and saddened to hear of the recent loss of 7 people's lives in the building collapse in Los Cristianos on the 14th of April 2016.

A recent press report in the local Diario de Avisos today (28th April 2016)  tells us that the owners of the Chinese supermarket which was on the ground floor have been left with just 200 Euros to their names.

Putting on our business heads for a moment - this incident just goes to prove the importance of a good insurance policy. To make sure your community insurance, buildings insurance, commercial insurance or even contents insurance if you are renting have the sufficient cover, please check you have a MINIMUM of 300,000 Euros cover although we do usually suggest a minimum of 600,000 Euros.
