Jill Ashton, founder of TIBC, first started operating as an English speaking tax and business consultant in 1982. Tenerife International Business Centre SL was founded in 1992 and introduced new services including estate agency, insurance sales, fiscal help, and taxation for residents and non residents alike.

Most of her team who operate from their office in Las Galletas have stuck by Jill since day one. The team also includes Jill's husband Carmelo who deals with Liberty Seguros and DKV insurance clients; and her son, Dani who has taken on the administration role.

José deals with accounting for residents, non residents and businesses in Tenerife; Ainara looks after Tráfico, social security and accounts; Leslie also looks after administration; Jo is on reception; and last but not least the newest members of the team - Alan is an insurance sales consultant and Chris is the business development manager (insurance sales and property sales & rentals).
